Why Do I keep Going Back to Facebook?
-
I’ve always been trying to make a successful campaign in Facebook, no matter how many I throw up they all seem to end up losing me money. Just looking in my Facebook advertising account I have spent a total of $2,281.96 with them, I know it’s not a significant amount in terms of the Facebook ballers but spending that amount of money without much/if any return does annoy you a little.
However for some reason I always keep it in the back of my head and try things out every now and then because to be frank I love the fact there isn’t a QS, the main thing to keep your eye on is the CTR of your ad.
You will have heard it’s extremely frustrating to get ads approved but if you take the time to read the TOS and understand what they are looking for you don’t have much problem unless your pushing a rebill or something they don’t like. The last few days/week I’ve been submitting hundreds of ads which nearly all of them got approved.
Think it’s all easy once approved? Hell no, I wouldn’t like to work out my success rate with Facebook campaigns overall but the last few days I seem to have found 2 campaigns that show potential. I’m just in the process of breaking them down to specifics so that I can increase the overall CTR making my CPC lower and profit higher (in theory).
Along with that as I mentioned in my past post about having someone to brainstorm with, that’s been working great so we have a couple more ideas to get through. We have set a goal to get 10 new campaigns making $100/profit a day, being full time I need as much as a stable income as I can and the other guy I’m working with is currently only working part time but obviously with a nice steady income he can make the jump to work full time – I’m sure we will both benefit from that as he can keep my ass motivated haha
I guess the moral of the post is to not exclude something just because it’s not working for you, if I quit Facebook after my XX failed campaign I would have missed out on these 2, plus from learning why they fail hopefully will make me understand the market better and be able to get more campaigns out in the future.

hey Richard
I know what you mean, im the same with facebook ads, i just cant seem to pull out converting campaigns no matter what i try and also ive spent alot with them.
The fact that they dont have a quality score is brilliant but having to makesure the ad is perfect or you lose the CTR and then the ad stops being displayed and before you know it facebook are wanting $2 – $3 per click. Just incane!
Ive always been into media buys because pay per click tends to scare the living hell out of me but with practice and dedication im sure you can pull some fat bank from facebook like alot of these other super affiliates like Bryn and Dennis.
Keep up the good work

Yeah RRS subscribers, I know sites that have far less than that and to say I haven’t done any promotion or anything I’m happy it’s growing. Plus it’s only been live 17 months so not 2 years….
If you take the time to look back I don’t ever say my life sucks, far from it to be honest but I guess you just jump on board and bitch about something you have no clue of.

At least he isn’t one of those “pro” bloggers who didn’t start ballin’ until they *became* a blogger telling us about “ballin’”.

When have I said my life sucks in my posts?
Plus I’m not really bothered if I don’t excite you, can’t please everyone can you…
If you have read my blog for a long time as you claim you will know the reason I started it – purely for me and my use in the future and I’m grateful for all the readers and money it makes.

Just like with any media buy, it is not failing if you can learn something from your buy to use for the next text. Facebook keeps getting tighter but there is plenty of money to be made there still.

100% agree with you, it’s all a learning experience… so long as I can take what I’ve learnt to make the next one better and hopefully more profitable it’s worth every penny

steve and joba steward are obviously the same guy, and a pathetic troll at that. I wouldn’t have even approved his comment if this was my blog. Keep at it Richard.
