Richard Bonner vs. Inspired Affiliate: Half Way Point
-
It’s just my luck that when I get round to sorting out a competition to give me the motivation to pursue affiliate marketing my schedule goes ballistic. With all this in mind I still have been trying to set time to improve my campaigns but I can honestly say I haven’t done enough – although I’m still in the lead we have 2 weeks to go which is ample time for the ranks to change.
This is why I haven’t been posting a great deal over last week because I simply don’t have the time but it’s time for an update of what’s been going on.
Luckily Inspired Affiliate updated his stats this morning so as far as I know these are all up to date.
I’ll not bother with the screenshots so here are the results from the first half of our competition:
Richard Bonner
Revenue as from 09/15: $1,965
Inspired Affiliate
Revenue as from 09/15: $614.75
I’m still a fair bit in front at the moment but I’m sure Paul will be glad to hear that a few problems have come up in my campaign which has forced me to pause certain areas of it while I monitor the it, it was still making decent revenue each day but it was losing me money. One of my goals is to still make a profit this month so I’m not letting this competition go to my head and still generate $XXX a day when in the end I will have lost money. Plus it gives Paul a nice few days to catch up with me to make things really interesting.
Also another positive thing is that I need to generate just $35 today in revenue to be on target for my $4,000 month in revenue. I’m currently at about a $161 loss over the first 2 weeks of this month but I’m very confident I can make it a profitable in this last 2 weeks.
Competition Prizes
I noticed that I didn’t post up what the prize will be for entering this competition, I decided to make it easier for everyone so I will give cash prizes away. This means that everyone in the world is eligible to participate and it will give you a nice incentive to start affiliate marketing without spending your own capital.
Here’s what’s up for grabs:
1st Place : $100
2nd Place : $50
3rd Place : $25$100 could go a long way in affiliate marketing, if you get lucky with your first campaign you may even never have to spend another cent of your own money. On the other hand if you happen to lose it all, at least it hasn’t affected your own cash flow and you will no doubt gained valuable experience.
If you haven’t I suggest that you enter this competition, it only takes a few minutes of your time. Simply fill in your details below and you will receive automatic updates of the competition and allow you to potentially win $100.

Nice update, good to see that you are still over double what Paul is at right now. And looking at your sidebar you have made even more money since posting this.
As far as profit versus loss, I think you are headed on the right track. You got lucky first starting out
Now comes the hard work of constantly tweaking everything until your brain melts.
Keep up the good work, I know that you can easily beat Paul, plus I want my $100!

Haha I know I can do it
Just a test of how far infront I can get.
I’m getting sloppy know I’m making money most days because I don’t want to test something that will make it perform worse or making me lose money.
Just going to focus on getting 3-5 campaigns up and running then taking 1 by 1 to make them super affiliate standard
