So, it’s been a while since I posted anything about my progress in affiliate marketing and I think it’s the right time to give a quick update, I have successfully finished uploading a campaign to Yahoo Search Marketing the good old fashioned way as I do not have a gold account… yet .

I have set myself goals to complete specific parts of the campaign by a certain date because with everything else going off in my life it can be hard to find the time to get started on new projects.

Market Leverage has been great in providing me the motivation to get up and running this month as they are currently holding the “Double Play, Triple Pay” program. Basically you have to double your earnings on last month and you will triple the reward you receive. Having a massive $0 last month I need to hit $1,000 in commission by the end of the month to be eligible for it. Have I left it too late? We’ll see.

If you haven’t yet signed up to Market Leverage then I strongly suggest you do because they are a great company to work with (well so far anyway).

If I have everything finished and ready to go, why haven’t I launched it today? Following the advice from Derek and other top affiliate over at Click Consultants they suggest that when you start a campaign in Yahoo, they will provide a boost of traffic to test your campaign so I may as well wait for the optimal time to get the best results – although it’s killing me!
