New Record: $4,000/day

Another day, another record. This is the great thing about affiliate marketing – you don’t have to wait for results. After tuning my campaigns yesterday removing anything that was pulling the campaign down it seems to have had an instant effect on the performance.

I had 2 ads in each ad group so I basically just removed the one that performed worse and I will be adding another one later on this week. Here is the breakdown from yesterday:

    Spend – $2,109.67
    Revenue – $4,068
    Profit – $1,958.33
    ROI – 92.83%

I’m also collecting a lot of data about my niche so I will be looking at breaking it down and maybe building more specific sites on the keywords that are converting and trying to get them ranking organically.

Wow, awesome stuff Richard, you just keep on improving. Can I ask whether you use the main search networks like Google, Yahoo or are you using social media sites like facebook? Are you finding more success with content or search? Just interested. Keep up the good stuff.

@ Kia Forums – Thanks for the comment, I’m hoping I can get upto 5 figure days pretty soon.

@ Aspiring Affiliate – To be totally honest I haven’t even looked into the social media side of things yet. It’s on my to-do list with 101 other things :)

At this moment in time the majority of my profits are from content but I’m going to be launching a fair few search campaigns over the next week or two so that may change.

Way to go Richard. I had no idea you’re a content super star :) Most of my revenue comes form search. I’m not able to get enough clicks from content. I group my keywords the way Google suggested in my content campaigns. Adgroups are theme based but sometimes I get confused how to define that theme.

@ Niche Affiliate Marketing – It can be tricky getting used to content, it took me a while to find something that was profitable.

I will do a post later on about grouping after I finish a few more tests to see what works best.

@ Ari Lestariono – I’m a member of PPC Classroom but I haven’t gone through it much lately but from what I have read it seems to be decent enough. Don’t expect to work through the course and then be able to make money off the bat – it’s not that easy unfortunately.

Some people still struggle to get things working after being taught what to do, you just have to be dedicated and willing to invest both time and money.

It pays off though once you find profitable campaigns.

Yes its a learning process. The more you do, the more you learn. The more you learn, the more experienced you get. The more experienced you get, the more confident you become. Once you become confident in what you do, they it becomes a child’s play. That’s what my experifnce is been with PPC.

Initially, I was scared to loose $20. Then my mentality was that for every 20 i spend I must make 40. The slowly I learned, I need to expand. The more I spend I more I learn and the more I make.

    Richard,

Do you have a lot of keywords in each adgroup for the content in Adwords? Or is about 15-30 kws for each?

    Thanks.

Hi Richard, I’d like to hear the answer for JimmyT’s question. :)
And also I’d like to read about conversion tracking; pixel tracking, subid, and more…
