New Record: $3,000/day

This may seem weird as my last post was about how I have messed things up for my main campaign, from the looks of it a fresh start was something that it needed. It just goes to show that sometimes when things start dying down you are best pausing it and uploading it again with any changes that you feel will make it better.

I did change the structure of the campaign which I think led to the increased in performance, I’ve learnt so much by talking to people, reading other blogs and from my own personal trial and error that I didn’t incorporate into the campaign the first tie around.

Aside from having a new revenue personal best it happened to be my best day in terms of profit too, here are the results from yesterday:

    Spend – $1,663.33
    Revenue – $3,177
    Profit – $1,513.67
    ROI – 91%

I will be writing up the earnings posts today and scheduling them for tomorrow and the day after so check back for those :) I’ve had a crazy couple of days and not had much time.

    That’s incredible day!

I seem to doing something wrong with PPC as my attempts in promoting ClickBank products (with landing page) end up with 2-3 sales a day and 3x more spend that revenue.

Is this a CPA offer Richard? Do you use content network? Such a high revenue seem to result from pretty high click number on a daily basis, which only content network can provide (in case of search network I gues there should be thousands of keyword with hundreds of converting on a consistent basis).

    ??? :)

  4. Dude James, you suck man lol. If it bothers you that much then why are you reading his blog? Go out and make money yourself.

I know this dude, I watched him go from start till now, he didn’t always make that money and I’m mad happy he stuck with it.

I wouldn’t dare spend what he does on ppc lol, it’s not my style, but how can you come on here and say ” trust me, he doesn’t make a penny” ?

You sound mad, someone must have ripped you off dude, that sucks, there are crooks out here but Richard is not one of them.

Why am I commenting, cuz I consider him a friend and I watched him grow his campaigns from making no profit, to a little profit,to this…I chat with him on a regular basis.

I have nothing to gain from defending him, but it’s sad that people are so negative, spend time figuring out what you can do to make money instead of going around trying to find blogs with people who are doing it, just so you can talk trash.

    silly dude

  5. @ Anton – How many campaigns have you launched? We all have ones that don’t pick up, the last couple I launched are back on pause while I rework things out. Once you find the one that shows potential it’s not a huge task to scale it into the big 3 search engines, more keywords, improved ad CTR, improved lp CTR etc etc.

Just keep on going with it.

In regards to content or search I have campaigns on both, they are both different so make sure you don’t activate both options in a campaign. Just duplciate the campaign and take things from there.

@ James – Even if I post screenshots of anything it will only entice people like you to complement me of my PhotoShop skills so what benefit do I have spending time taking them and posting etc.

If you had taken the time to read any of my posts you will see that I didn’t create this blog to give out killer tips or make money from it (I will share as much as I can without being a threat to my business, why would I want to make things harder for myself after I have spent both time and money finding out what works and what doesnt.)

This blog is purely as a timeline of my journey into affiliate marketing, that’s the reason I haven’t hardly spent any time pushing selling things or reviewing every product out there in the hope to gain referral commission.

If you don’t like it – that’s your opinion and you never have to come back again. I won’t lose sleep from it :)

@ Niche Affiliate Marketing – Thanks for the comment, noticed your March results, way to go :)

I’m launching 2-3 campaigns a month – max. All are ClickBank offers. It takes me time to do market and competition research, then find/sort keywords, create landing page and finally blow my budget =))) (Unf I cannot afford working online for many hours due to health issues)

I think my problem lies in high click costs – I tend to bid high enough to get XX% CTRs and traffic, but keywords tend to be pretty expensive now, so I end up in the red ink.

Another issue is keyword list itself – I use Keywordspy to get these huge lists, but…are at least 10% of the keywords gonna bring in sales, and even more important – profits.

I’ve noticed that your campaigns (you’re mentioning here) start with slight profits or break even…just like Amit says in PPCC 2.0. That means – conversions SOME of your keywods make cover click costs for entire campaign (which I guess has over 1000 keywords at least).

    Hi Richard,

I noticed you always report figure in $, but are based in the UK? Is this because you set your adwords to dollars or are you only promoting American products and using their PPC programs?

Gret blog, one of only a few I regularly read.

    Cheers. :-)

  9. Hey Steven, thanks for the comment.

I always post in $ because yeah, my adwords states in $ and the networks I use to promote the offers also use $ so it makes things easier for me rather than converting it all of the time.

Plus all of the other blogs seem to use $ as the default currency (plus it looks higher :P )

  11. Hi Richard,
I’ve been following your blog for several months now and without a doubt you’ve inspired many to take the plunge into PPC marketing. It is definitely not for everyone, but there simply isn’t any other way to find out how a niche, offer, or KW will perform as quickly as you can with PPC. Those big IM numbers come from defeating the fear of losing money – again and again and again – until you have a few offers or niches that are converting well and making you great coin. Awesome blog and awesome information Richard!
