Is This the End of Affiliate Marketing?
-
**Disclaimer** This is for steve and “joba steward” just to say that I’m not complaining about how my life sucks
Since I’ve been a full time affiliate I’m really happy that I’ve been able to stay focussed on work (the majority of time) and managed to keep the distractions down to a minimum. It’s only the last few months I’ve been getting back into Call of Duty: World at War, I love 1st person shooters but tended to only play a little at weekends or if any mates come over when I wouldn’t be working anyway.

As of tomorrow the new COD: Modern Warfare 2 is released which I’m eager to get and see what it’s like, I pre-ordered it so I’m actually expecting it to arrive tomorrow. Let’s just hope it doesn’t take too much of my time up

While I’ve been playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R my affiliate efforts came to the minimum… Now STALKER CALL OF PRYPYAT is already released in Russia but I sweared not to get it until I start earning at least 3000$ month consistently =)

I’ve never played that, I try to keep myself limited in the gaming industry on new releases. What I don’t know – doesn’t hurt me

Lots of fun and crazy ass plot twists in MW2. Played through the whole game and absolutely loved it. Gonna wait till the official launch to fire up online. Not sure if they’d disable my XBox or anything if I tried playing the game online before the actual release of the game.

Yeah there was a few shops that sold it either yesterday or the day before over here in the UK but I heard that you’re best unplugging live until the release date.
Not sure how much of that is true though, seen as I had preordered and paid for it from game I’m just waiting for tomorrow and trying to get as much work done today
How long did it take to go through the single player version? Wonder if there will be anything like the nazi zombies WAW had

No Nazi zombies… not sure on the play time, but its just as hard as WAW was, i think WAW might be a little harder though. I never beat it.

You must have so much time in your life to post practically the same comment on 2 of my posts.
Plus you can’t find it that depressing to either keep me in your RSS reader or check back every day

COD is like crack! I had to delete it from my computer a year ago because I couldn’t get any work done. It’s so tempting to get the new MW2! grrrr…. But I seriously have to approach it like when I quit cigarettes. If I have even just one, I’m screwed.

It’s an awesome game, I only did the first few missions then tried a couple goes on multiplayer.
The challenge aspect of it seems to be miles bigger than WAW

Haha, great title, you are going to get lots of hits by using the classic journalism trick. Regardless, looking forward to this one, I’m not going to buy it till I have a couple more campaigns on autopilot or it will be the downfall of my affiliate marketing world too.

Hey Rich,
Just read Steve’s and Joba’s comments on another post. Not once have you complained about AM (or your life). Things aren’t going as well as they were for you and this blog is a record of your journey in AM, the good and the bad!
I don’t know what they expect. For you not to write another post until your making $10,000 a day again?
Actually I sense that they are a little jealous. As you are able to be disappointed with making the kind of profits they could only dream of.
Keep up the good work. It’s people like you who will succeed again and people like them who give up when things get a little tough.
I can’t comment on this posts topic as I don’t play computer games!

Hi Richard, you say you’re into FPS games. Well my advice to you is, hopefully in the not too distant future, when you have made your millions and decide to retire in some exotic location. Make sure you have a PS3 and Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition! It is such a huge game that it would probably take you until true pension age (65) to complete it. Seriously though, it is a legendary game and, for me, the best game ever released to date. I can say 100% though, for a busy man like you right now, DON’T BUY FO3 YET as you may not be able to leave it alone!!!
