First Experience with Media Buys
-
Overall it’s been an interesting experience and a great lesson doing these 2 media buys. There both pretty much done and I’d say that they both made about half of the spend back which at first is a little disappointing but I’ve got my feet wet in media buys and picked up some key things down the line.
It has actually opened a can of worms for me which is good because I’ve spent the last 2 days going through some things I noticed which has made the overall goal clearer of what I need to do and some new tactics I’ve thought of.
Although this month has been the worst performance wise for me I would say it’s been one of my most productive months so far, I have learnt so much taking a step back and reviewing my process I’m eager to get back to finding myself a winner which won’t be long – I can feel it

I’m quite fine where I am thanks.
Your telling me all the big affiliates have been raking in the cash EVERY campaign they think of/launch?
Or I could begin to lie saying I’m back at 6 figs a month working 1 hour a day and sell you all ebooks

Richard,
yes. all the big affiliates rake it in on the first day on EVERY campaign. I thought you knew that super affiliates have some secret magical powers that allow them to bank on every campaign.
Too bad those people don’t exist. lol
I think what James meant was… “Time to hit up monster.com for a media buy.” haha

Apparently James has needed to use Monster.com otherwise he wouldn’t be recommending it to you. Poor James!
Richard, Your losses are even inspiring. Keep going strong!

Rich, it may be the time to get a resume together and start applying for some jobs. It sucks, but it’s a reality.

Even the bad months so far have been better than any standard jobs wage in the UK so I’m far from that stage at the moment in my opinion.
It just totally changes your mindset when you have great months, what was satisfactory before becomes a scary situation.
I’m looking at the yearly average and basing my income on that, to say I’ve been stupid with some ideas/moves and not kept the consistant work up I’m still over the moon about this year.
