CPA: Campaign #1 Day 7
-
I’ve pretty much let this campaign just gather data over the last week stepping in yesterday to make some bid changes based on current performance. I have actually gone over the $500 budget I set for each campaign but that’s because it is showing potential in my opinion. I had my first profit day yesterday so it looks like the bid changes were effective in bringing the avg CPC down enough to swing a profit.
Here are the results from yesterday:
Impressions: 5,866
Clicks: 88
CTR: 1.50%
Avg. CPC: $1.21
Avg. CPM: $18.13
Total Cost: $106.34
Revenue: $128
Profit: $21.66
ROI: 20.37%Landing Page CTR: 47.31%
Overall this campaign is still in a loss but I’m going to review the effect of my changes tomorrow and then tweak again to try and improve performance.

@ Juice – They don’t. I am doing a case study of trying out 5 clickbank products and 5 cpa offers to see which works best for me.

CPA stands for cost per action or am I getting something wrong?
What does it mean in regards to affiliate marketing?

Richard,
I’m confused. Weren’t the campaigns that you had so much success with, CPA campaigns?

@ Roman – Yeah it’s cost per action, you get paid per action
@ Jimmy Tang – Yeah there were, just that things have gone abit down hill these last few months for my main campaign so I’m seeking alternatives to try keep it more stable.
