Just a quick post of something I’ve just come across, I set up some changes on a LP I had running to try and improve the conversion – went out for some tea and came back excited to see some extra leads in my account.

When I checked I didn’t even see any extra clicks on the offer, never mind conversions. Checked my traffic and that has increased a few hundred $, curious I went to my landing page and it came up with an error.

Basically I had used the t202 landing page rotation to test something and not set up the count.txt and the permissions to make it work.

Moral of the story is not to cut corners, make sure everything still works after any changes to be on the safe side.
