Boy I Miss My Dual Screens

I’ve always been a fan of having dual screens, if you have never tried it you are missing out big time. It makes life so much easier and can increase productivity instantly. You can check out my workspace in this post, however I have moved out of that place and currently looking for another place to live.

In the meantime I have moved back with my parents briefly until I find somewhere suitable, I have all of my things packed up but haven’t really bothered setting up my desktop because I don’t plan on being there long enough so I’m using my mini laptop which has about a 10”-12” screen which I use for travelling. I love it don’t get me wrong but it’s quite hard getting used to downgrading from 2 22” monitors.

Let’s just say there is a lot more scrolling to do :P

Hopefully I will have everything sorted pretty soon, I will post updated pictures when I get my new office setup.

That would suck from going to 2 20″ to small netbook. I love my dual screens. I would never go back to one monitor. Thanks Greg Ellison

I know what you mean! I have dual screens in the office, but I don’t have a desk set up at home. I usually just move my laptop to whatever room I’m in, so having another monitor isn’t that convenient- but I do miss it when I don’t have it.

@ Greg – Yeah it certainly does

@ Dina – You don’t realise how much easier it is to have one window open on one screen and work on another, it’s annoying switching tabs all of the time.

@ tantan – Thanks, hopefully it won’t be too long :)
