Affiliate Marketing Results: May 2009

With such a good previous month it was hard to try and beat that record, the problem is that I was on holiday for the first 2 weeks of May so I was capped to how much I could actually do as I was away from my computer. Unfortunately my main campaign seemed to die down while I was away which has affected the end outcome. Here are the results from May:
Revenue = $17,951.98
Spend = $11,931.91Profit = $6,020.07
Don’t get me wrong, $6k is still a nice monthly income but I’m trying to always push myself more to reach new limits.
May was actually one of my best months as I had a turning point in my affiliate business style, although my campaign died I managed to get it back up and running during the last few days of the month. In the process I learnt a fair bit about running a successful campaign and hopefully will be able to prevent its performance from dipping again.

Considering you’re now having over 4000$-a-day days, this result is by no means embarrasing
Content network is truly the way to go.

“on holiday for the first 2 weeks of May” ahhh.. the life of an affiliate marketer!! =) $6k/month net profit is still amazing to me, congratz!

@ Alex – mainly is was reviving my main one which did do bad during May, I’m already excited to see what this month has to offer
@ Anton – Cheers, I’m keen to see the final results for today revenue and profit wise, I’m on record to break the record I’ve posted about today.
@ Keith – It’s great, go where you want, whenever you want. Next time I was thinking about going for a little longer and just taking my laptop for general maintenance for 10-30 mins a day etc.
@ jayl – At the moment my main campaign which brings in pretty much (if not) everything is on the content network yeah. I am working on expanding that because I feel I could easily get that up to $xx,xxx/day with some work.
